We get a large dose of new music this time around.  September 18th was a great day for the ears.  That was the release date for Dinosaur Jr., Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Ben Folds Five and The Corin Tucker Band.  All of which we will get in to.

There will be a new release from The Sword next month so we've all got something to look forward to.

There isn't much else to report on so I will end this here.

Episode 21: Judge Dredd? Again? Why?

Greetings Dear Listener,

It's that time again to ruin your hearing and sense of decency with twenty-five tracks of musical goodness.

Pay close attention to the line in Ashes In The Fall about factory and school doors closing while doors of the prison swing open to greet us.  If that grown-up frat boy from Wisconsin actually had a brain in his head, those words would have seeped in and maybe he wouldn't be so beholden to his corporate owners.  Tom Morello wrote a response to Paul Ryan that is quite entertaining.  If there was one guy I wouldn't want to get into the intellectual cross-hairs of, it would be Tom Morello.

Louis C.K. pays us a visit with some very true words about parenting these days.  Humanity is doomed.

We get our first entries from the Lux & Ivy's Favorites series.  I suggest doing yourself a favor and downloading all fifteen or so volumes.  They're free downloads so the price is right.

In honor of the handful of Quicksand reunion shows, we get into a bit of Manic Compression.

We also get a taste of the new Deerhoof.  If they are coming to your town, run don't walk to the venue. Scissors be damned.

And we celebrate the start of a new Steelers season with song about rape.
